Need help finding my Cockatoo

I was relocating to a different state and my brother was watching my bird for me until I got settled. Once I moved we had a falling out and I learned from a friend that he sold my umbrella cockatoo. He wont give me any info on her whereabouts. I have been searching for her since Jan. 2014. I have been posting on craigslist/Facebook and many other parrot location websites…I am not giving up but am afraid that I may never find her after so much time has gone by. She has a leg band and I can identify her if needed. Any ideas on what to do next would be appreciated. We miss her so much. 🙁
