Description: [Bird on the right]
Female gray Cockatiel with orangey cheeks and white marks on her closed wings. She has a bald spot behind her mohawk (crest).

How to approach:
She is shy and nervous around new people but she might approach you if you walk slowly and show her jewelry/shiny objects, glasses, seeds or crumbs. It also helps to bird whistle and/or call her by her name Bonito(Von-ee-tow). She may want to climb your arm afterwards, you should be able to gently place your palm over her shoulders to prevent her from flying away.

Any info, including sightings, will be greatly appreciated. Please check on your roofs, trees or yards. Parks might also attract her since she likes to hear other birds.

All I want at this point is to have some closure and have some relief in my mind. I’ve been going all over Waukesha and neighboring cities just to try to get a clue. Can’t sleep without thinking on my beloved innocent girl. So please if anybody has seen a cockatiel around your area, please please let me know.
