Luna is 8-10 months old. I got her in May 2024 and she wasn’t weaned until July. I call her “she” but I’m not sure of the sex.
Luna has a yellow crest and orange cheeks. Feathers are light gray and white with some yellow. She may be pied or cinnamon.
Luna can wolf whistle and imitate the microwave button beep and my sneeze. She also has other chirps and sounds and can be very chatty at times, especially when I’m on the phone.
She was clipped, but recently molted and grew in new feathers. She has enjoyed flying around the house and perching on my head. This is where she was when I forgot and went to the back door and she got away today around 12:30.
She circled the house and yard many times before the circles started moving away. After I lost sight of her, I walked many blocks looking and calling for her. After listing her on Paw boost, I went outside and called for her again and she flew back into the area of my house/yard and was circling. She even stopped to rest in a tree a few times, but she didn’t fly down to me and flew off again.
I put her cage on the patio with food, water and the door
open. I’ve been in my back yard calling for her hoping she’ll hear me and find her way home. She has an orange band the breeder placed on her leg. I don’t know whether it has any info. If it does, the print is too small for me to see.
