Please help. Lost Pet Parrot Nala on 9/1 about 10pm in Austin, TX 78753 last seen in Oertli Neighborhood Park (Pearl Retreat Ln and Lucida Ln.)
DESCRIPTION: African Senegal parrot, 2 years old, about the size of an adult hand. Green/Orange body, grey head. She wears a metal band with an ID number.
BEHAVIOR: Gets scared/spooked easily if you approach her and is quiet, but responds well to calling her name, whistling, and apples. Call me ASAP and text at (832) 930-6560 if you see her. She can fly far and high but does not know how to navigate.
She flew into the trees in the field facing the Bexley Tech Ridge apartments. On the other side of the trees is another open field and The Retreat at Tech Ridge Neighborhood.
She may be searching for food soon and may approach people or residential areas so please be on the lookout. Please pass this post and information on to other groups. Thanks so much
