Nero (pronounced: Neh-ro with a rolled “R” sound) is a 4 month old cockatiel, she’s very sweet and gentle and was hand fed so she is used to humans. She is mostly gray with a slight yellow on her face around her beak and eyes, with some white spots on her head and under her flight feathers/underwing. Mohawk color is a little bit yellow. She responds to the cockatiel flock whistle and “Nero let’s go/come here” and a two note whistle that goes high-low. She lands on your head or shoulder and sometimes your hand/finger if you hold it out to her. She will come towards millet. She flew out in our area today April 20.20 around 4pm central time. We saw her fly over a house/backyard in the direction of the elementary school behind our street. Please If anyone finds her text or call at 281-703-3213 or 281-236-3443 ask for Ryan or Tania.
