Its been 7 days & 18 hours now since Scarlett was taken from the Trader Joe’s parking lot in west hollywood. I am trying to keep positive that someone saw someone or something and they will call with info. It was a last minute impulse to take her as she loves to go on errands and get outside. Her wings were clipped and we have done this routine a zillion times. Some of my flyers keep getting ripped off the SM Blvd and some stay. I have posted almost 300 and I’ve got to keep trying. Scarlett is 23 and says “Uh Oh” when she poops and when she goes on the carpet she says “Uh, Oh. bad bird” she says “want some” when she wants what I am eating and rips up the carpet in the closet – so I have placed extra carpet their for her nesting project. Scarlett has a frequent flyer id on airlines and a bank account that I had to close at Wells Fargo. Scarlett is a fixture on my street and sits on the balcony and whistles and talks to people going by. I enjoy getting out of the shower when she gives me a big whistle – that always makes me feel good. Scarlett imitates my voice and when i imitate her imitating me, people tell me I don’t get it right. Scarlett terrorizes the cat and Rhett Butler the Gala (who i got to keep her company – he is 18). Scarlett doesn’t have feathers on her chest, she started picking during the Northridge earthquake. Still her eyes are so deep when she watches me cry – our souls are connected. she enjoys vacuuming, doing laundry, & shower singing!
