This is to report and pass around an alert about my stolen Blue and Gold Macaw. Cherokee (F) was taken from her outside flight on May 24th by force. A hole was cut into a side panel of her flight while I was at work that day. She is hand tame, usually only to me and she is banded on her right leg. Her age is 17 yrs +/-. During a squable with nest mates when she was under a year old, one of Cherokee*s toes was bitten and the claw does not grow to a normal length. The claw stays at about a constant 1/4 inch or so. She is in excellent feather. Thru photos and DNA, she can be positively ID*d. There is a reward for her safe return with info leading to an arrest.
Please contact me bye email or leave phone msg as I am not able to answer while at work. Or contact Amador Sheriff Dept (209)223-6500. The person I believe stole my parrot has family in Roseville, Acampo, and Woodbridge. Cherokee will most likely be sold soon.
I live close to Pine Grove, Amador County in California. We have info that the parrot, if not still in the county, may have been taken to Acampo in San Joaquin County, California. Thank you for your time.
