My pet cockatiel has been missing since August 1st, 2012. I live in the South End of Barrie on Stephanie Lane.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Normal Grey Male Cockatiel with a yellow and grey head and orange cheeks. The yellow starts at his comb and goes down to the back of his neck. The front of his head is the grey part, the grey starts at the top of his eyelids and goes around the cheeks to the bottom of his neck. There is a little bit of yellow underneath the grey part on his chest. The rest of his body is grey with white parts on the bottom of his wings. His wings have been clipped in the past, but they are not anymore. He is not banded, and not microchipped.
PERSONALITY:
He goes by the name of “Cheeky” – hence the cheeks – and he is a VERY friendly bird. He may seem scared or unfriendly when/if found though. He loves being rubbed on the head just underneath his comb, and will even allow you to pet his back if he’s in a good mood. He’s usually very laid back unless he feels like he is being threatened or stressed out. He also like to hang off of clothing while you are walking around. You could be doing dishes and he will just grab hold of your shirt or jeans and he’ll sit there. He LOVES sitting on people’s shoulders, if you try to take him off he will get snippy, but his bites never hurt all that much. If he is out of the cage and walking around he will follow you around if you call his name IF he is comfortable and feels safe with you. When around other animals, he acts cautious and will walk/run away or snap at them depending on how stressed he feels.
