Hello, I have a gray male cockatiel. He is a standard grey male cockatiel. I live in Coquitlam at the corner of David and Pinetree at the base of westwood plateau. He flew south from David St. in Coquitlam. He flew away around 5pm on July 19th over my apartment complex. He is grey with a yellow face and bright orange cheek patches like a standard grey cockatiel. I am still wondering if someone has kept him at my apartment complex on Silver Springs Blvd. or if he flew off into the trees or elsewhere. He will bite if approached and did this with me most of the time and after he warmed up he liked his head scratched and liked affection. He likes to do things on his terms only and has a mind of his own. I have had him for 11 years and this has affected me tremendously since he flew away out of his cage on my porch where I accidently opened the cage where I was on my porch. If anyone in the tri-city areas or beyond finds a bird matching this description please call me at 604-942-4277.
