Just wanted to share that Walter was found on Tuesday evening and returned home on Wednesday (4/25). A very kind-hearted family found him walking down the middle of Oswego near 51st. He had flown nearly 4 miles from home. Hopefully this story gives everyone a little hope that their lost pet may still show up someday.

We lost our cockatiel on Saturday morning. He was last seen flying around Wright Elementary. He is most likely between 41st and 51st streets, between Riverside and Peoria. His name is Walter, and has been raised by hand since he was born. This means he is very comfortable with humans, and may even come to you if he’s hungry or thirsty and you call his name.
