“Jackie was found about 3 km from our home when she called from a rooftop to a man out for a walk . When he stopped, she flew down onto his shoulder. He took her in and called the SPCA. The SPCA housed her for two days while they looked for an owner. They called the owner of another lost cockatiel first who put them on to us as she didn’t look anything like his. He had seen an ad we had put in on a local website….usedvictoria.com. Once they called us, we went in and were able to positively identify her as ours. She’s lost quite a few feathers from malnutrition and stress but it very much the same little cockatiel she was before she was lost. We’ve watched her blossom in the few days we’ve had her. Thank you so much for volunteering your time for the website~ it was a great resource for us as we were searching for her for all those weeks. I had been quite diligent in checking on the web every day until this past week.”
Take care, Tanya

Jackie flew out the door of our home and was caught in a gust of wind and blown a fair distance. She is sweet and loving and a pied split. She loves to shoulder sit and nibble on glasses.
