HI,
We have been reunited with our Severe Macaw, Amelia, who we reported missing today. She is alive and well; had spent the night in a tree. We spent 4 hrs under the tree today and she came back! I couldn’t find the place to post to the reunited section, but I knew I needed to let you know.
Thank you,
Elizabeth

Amelia was born 9/15/11, and has never been away from home before.
She is mostly green with red on her wings and some blue tail feathers. She has white patches around her eyes.
Last seen on Route 223 in Van Etten.
She says hi, what, yeah, nerd bird, Amelia, and step up. She tends to be shy with strangers but will come when her name is called. She also makes lots of chirping and whistling noises, and tends to squawk only when she sees Mama or Daddy for the first time in a while. Amelia tends not to talk much when people are around but is very friendly and curious.
She has been registered with all the area shelters and vets. We will cover any medical expenses, and just want our girl to come home.
