We are incredibly lucky to give you this news: our bird Trudy is back with us, thanks to the Port Washington community and the police department. She flew to someone’s house, and those amazing people were kind enough to both take her in and call the police. We are incredibly grateful. If you ever lose a pet, please remember – don’t give up hope, and call your local police department!
Trudy is a 10 month old green cheek conure (pineapple and yellow-sided mix), about 10 inches long, with black head, green wings, yellow and red belly. She flew out of our Port Washington, NY home around 3pm on 12/27/14.
