I am not sure how to remove a lost bird listing.

I am happy to report that Bo-Bo was found safe, 6 hours after we lost him on Friday, 2/22/13 in Huntington Station, NY 11746. We had spent 6 hours calling for him around the neighborhood. Finally, my husband put our other bird outside in his cage (with a heat lamp, of course) and also rang Bo’s little toy bells. Shortly thereafter, he heard Bo and spotted him in our neighbor’s tree. Bo came down when we held up some treat in our cupped palm. This method (using your other bird voice) was suggested by several sources and I would like to post it for other bird owners because it worked for us.

I also want to point out that we are EXTREMELY careful whenever we open our doors, and that our birds are clipped. Nevertheless, the birds love to be with us and when my husband went outside Bo must have slipped out with him. Despite being clipped, he was able to fly a long distance. So you can’t be too careful. We never thought this would happen to us.

Thanks to all for the good wishes.
