PLEASE HELP ME FIND HIM!!
My parrot flew away today. I found him 2 hours later up a tree, he refused to come down then got scared off and I’ve been looking all eve
Parrot info: Congo African Gray
Name: Captain, age 7
Identifying features – his belly is plucked so it looks white (down feathers) gray body, black wings, bright red tail
He says ‘hello’ in many different tones, say ‘hi’, ‘good night’ ‘bye bye’ he whistles, squeaks, does car alarms, cell phone rings and squeaking doors
He is friendly and will take well to most people. He has a band around one leg
Last seen: Thursday Afternoon on a tree in Elmtree Lane Jericho NY, he took off down Elmtree Lane.
He is a house-pet and I doubt he can handle himself out there. Please if you see him try to coax him to you. He likes honey nut cheerios, bread, sunflower seeds and pretty much any human food.
If anyone has seen or heard anything, or has any suggestions, please contact me ASAP
