LOST PARROT- PEABODY/SALEM LINE
Our peach front conure (mini parrot) got through the door this morning. We located her in a neighbor’s tree on Charlotte St. in Peabody (on the Salem line) For 4 1/2 hours, I had her in sight and tried several different methods to get her down. Animal control suggested spraying her so as we got the hose ready, she flew away and towards Frederick St. & Belleview St in Salem. We tried locating her for several more hours.
If you hear a bird that doesn’t sound like neighboring birds, it’s a parrot like squawk-not like a Macaw because she’s a mini parrot but it is a very distinct voice, please let me know.
I alerted Northeast animal shelter in Salem about her so if a parrot is brought in, they can call.
