Adult peahen missing from my property at the corner of County Road 35 and County Road 22, Middlebury, early on the morning of 08/03/11. She’s fairly tame and loves to eat corn. She’s brown above, off-white below, with a green neck and dark colored crown feathers. This is a large bird, about the size of a wild turkey. She prefers to walk but can fly well when necessary. She prefers to roost well up in trees at night. Please call me if you see her.
