Report from Perroquetecours” volunteer:
To summarize the story, Habibi was lost Dec. 22, 2011 when people were arriving inadvertently and opened the door, while Habibi was in another room. The bird flew to the door in a snap, which is not like him and he went through a tiny opening.
It was found by a person at her work’s place, we will not mention the place and identity. That person brought the bird home with the intention of keeping it. She contacted the owner, saying she had found the bird but it died. The owner has indicated her desire to recover the body for burial on her land. The lady who found the bird being taken by surprise and remorse could only tell the truth at the insistence of its owner. The bird was recovered on the 23th at midnight and we’ll know more soon.
Meanwhile, Perroquetsecours was in contact with the owner. We have received important information by telephone on December 23 evening, information that we cannot reveal because this person wants to remain anonymous, but this information was crucial.
Thank you to the honest people who came forward and thanks to people who found the bird and have come to their best of intentions after all.
Be aware that an animal which is found outside probably belongs to someone and he is loved and waited on. Would’nt you be glad to have yours back !
