UPDATE; REUNITED!
My parrot flew by puente Ave. earlier today around 11am. She is a green and red fronted Amazon parrot. Her name is Sandy or we also call her Sandia. She’s around two years old and doesn’t know how to hunt. She is a domesticated parrot who was well taken care of and had everything she needed at home. On November 28, 2021 she was on my mother’s shoulder when she was frightened by car door and flew by puente Ave. direction in La Puente. Please help us find her. We think she’s nearby but she whistles tunes and likes saying “currito corre” and other phrases like that. She had her loving family at home and her indoor cage where she was well fed. She screams of frightened or when hungry. Please don’t let her suffer outside and if seen, please contact (626)726-7742.
