My Blue Quaker Parrot flew out the door first thing Saturday morning, May 04, 2019…She’s a female and her name is “Lita Ford”…She also responds to “Quaker-Shakes” and “Quaker-Head”…She’s 3 years-old and I’ve had her since she was 11 weeks old…She sat high in a tree in my neighbor’s yard for about 2 hours, scared to come down or didn’t know how to come down, and then a Crow chased her away…I’ve been running around the Penn Hills neighborhood of State College for hours already calling to her, but she stopped calling back to me…
She was lost from the Penn Hills neighborhood of State College, from my home on Buchenhorst Rd. (Penn Hills is the older neighborhood out towards the Nittany Mall, up on the hill behind Tubbies and down the road from the Kia store/Walmart)…
If you even see her, please, I beg you to call me day or night at the landline number listed…I don’t have a cell right now but there is an answering machine on the landline if I’m not home…Hopefully she’ll be so tired and hungry she’ll come to you, she is extremely hand-tame, so hopefully someone will find her if I don’t…You can’t miss her, she is about 7-8” tall (a little taller than a Cockatiel), and she’s all bright-blue in color except for her chest and face, which is light-gray, with an orange beak…She loves to “dance”, which means to head-bang…Please, if you see her or have her call or email Ellen directly…Thank you.
