My sweet Monty flew away at Boicourt Overlook Trail in the South unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. He has a band on his left foot. He is not a great flier as his wings were clipped, but a gust of wind caught him right when he got spooked by a group of people. He is very docile and friendly and should step up if you offer him your hand. The phrases he likes and can kind of repeat are “Hi Monty,” “step up,” and “pretty bird.”
He desperately needs water and food as we are not from the area! Originally from Hawaii so he is not used to this landscape at all.
