Our cockatiel got out of the cage/apartment several hours ago. We stood and watched till dusk as he sat at the top of a very tall tree in the little park overlooking our apartment complex [Montair Apartments]. Then he took off past our apartment building and I tried to keep up with him but lost track of which way he flew. From his cries I couldn’t tell if headed towards the freeway, out towards Brekenridge Apartments or more south. We spent over an hour walking the streets trying to hear him or get him to respond to us but with no luck. I’m attaching a close up picture of him. If you see him, or can catch him, please PLEASE contact me! He’s my sweetheart. His name is Jasper. He loves to whistle and chat, says pretty bird and [usually] will hop onto your hand if you say “step up”….and are close enough. We miss our baby and pray that wherever he is, he stays out of harm.
