Fidel was sighted on the second-story ledge of the Olympus Bldg in Center Valley, by office worker Stacy Zappacosta, who promply googled for lost parrots and came up with my listing and called me. She threw Fidel a banana, and my husband and I came over with net, sheet, small cage and my other parrot, Oscar. Security for Olympus, Mike Pyle and Jon Knight, put a ladder up to the ledge, then netted Fidel, then threw a sheet over her. Mike caught her and put her in the small cage and delivered her to me. All the kids in the day care stood looking on. It was an emotional moment, and such a happy one. Fidel is now home after being out for almost 14 days. She hasn’t stopped eating and looks worn out, but alive. Thank you so much to all who helped bring Fidel home. Picture will follow.
