PLEASE HELP US FIND OUR BELOVED AFRICAN GREY PARROT, MAX!
Max went missing around the 2nd Avenue & 62nd Street area of Sunset Park/Bay Ridge Brooklyn area, but can be anywhere in Brooklyn, NY.
Max talks, whistles, loves red Twizzlers, but is very shy around new people. If you put a bowl of food or water out with sunflower seeds, fruits, nuts, crackers, rice etc he might come near & stay long enough for me to hurry over with his cage. He is not very good at flying downward from trees or perches. He responds to his name, either Max or Maxwell, ‘can say “HELLO” “COME HERE” “WHATCHA DOIN?” & whistles the Darth Vader entrance tune (Datdat, dat, dat da dat, dat da dat…) We hope he hangs in there in this heat/rain so we can bring him home soon! He has an I.D. band on his right arm. He plucks his chest feathers when he’s nervous.
Please any sightings, please call/text (646) 379-7885! Can also send a picture text to confirm his markings! He is blue grey with red tail feathers, black beak….your standard Congo African Grey Parrot appearance.
There is a reward!
Thank you for your help & prayers & for sharing this with any NYC/Brooklyn friends!
