Pepe is very friendly to me but may bite other’s very hard! Especially if he is afraid. Pepe talks – he says “Coo Coo Bird” “Pepe” “Peanut! Shut Up!” ” and he says “Boss!” (These are all the other pet names). He talks a lot but usually not in front of other people so he might not say a thing – if it is Pepe he may repeat a phase though if it’s familiar to him.
He says “Maddy” and “Gizmo” but not sure if anyone would understand some of what he says.
Pepe flew out the door – my husband didn’t know he was out of his cage. He has never even tried to escape before and is not familiar with living in the wild. I have had him since he was hatched. He is about 3 years old.
We miss him very much – his “friend” our African Grey keeps calling him and asking me if I like Pepe:)
