We have lost our Congo African Grey parrot, Jasper, on May 28, 2011 at around 1-2pm in Accokeek, Maryland on Clover street (near Bisque/April and Mall Street) It is off of Indian Head Hwy 210, about 3 miles north of Bloom grocery and the Accokeek library.
He managed to get loose from his cage and flew away. We have searched for him all day and night. If you do not know what the bird looks like it’s simple, he has a gray body with a bright red tail and the size of a crow but more plump). I have posted up some pictures of him. Although none of them are recent photos of him, he looks EXACTLY the same except his eye color (not the iris) is a more whitish color not gray. His right foot is banded and we post his band number as soon as we get it!
If you have seen/spotted him anywhere (on the ground, in a tree, in the sky, on something) could you please PLEASE contact us immediately. Our email address is [helpfindjasper -at- @gmail.com] and our number is (240) 863-2387 for a more immediate response. You can call or text whichever is easier/faster.
We are afraid and very desperate to find him… He is part of our family and he is still a baby to us 🙁
If you see him please let us know!!
