At approximately 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 14 2011 my three year old let our year old cockatiel out of his cage and out of the back door. We live on W. Idaho ave. in Meridian, between Pine and Meridian rd. The birds name is Jeffery and this will have been his first experience with flight. He is a whiteface with black eyes, his gray is on the lighter side. He has no ID band as he was born in out house, the only offspring of my pair. He mimic’s the cat call whistle well. He knows his name. He can also say pretty bird, though I’m not sure if he would in a high stress situation. He means a lot to us and we would love to find him.
