From the Gananoque Reporter:
Family searching for lost parrot
By Staff
Posted 4 hours ago
A family visiting Gananoque from Montreal has lost their parrot and they are hoping someone in the community can help them.
Their brown headed parrot named Blair escaped today. She was last seen perched in a large tree in front of the Arthur Child Heritage Museum. Despite the family’s efforts to entice her with treats, she flew away.
Blair is friendly but will not come to strangers willingly. She likes seeds, almonds and bread. It’s a fairly large bird with darkish head feathers and bright green body plumage.
Anyone that finds Blair is asked to call 382-2535.
