lost bird gray cockatiel (willow glen / cambrian)
jjhn4-3543960585@comm.craigslist.org
Our gray cockatiel got out of his cage, and was last seen at Los Gatos Creek in Willow Glen. He was flying between the apartments on Glen Eyrie and Pedro, for most of the day, and was last heard in the ivy behind San Jose Swim & Racquet club Sunday Jan 13th at 4pm .
He is a very friendly tame bird, and will “step up” for a finger. Loves to sit on heads.
He was a run away when we got him, as he “turned himself in” at a friend’s window (and we were never able to find his owners years ago). We are hoping he will show up at someone’s window again, and we will have our boy back.
Dolce is a “normal gray” cockatiel and when we got him he was quiet for 2 days, then started whistling up a storm. He now does our “flock song” in addition to car alarms, wolf whistle, etc.
Our other bird needs his buddy back, as much as our daughter does. Dolce is an important part of our family so we hope to get him back home soon, so we are offering a $100 reward.
He is an extremely strong flyer but afraid of crows. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was able to make it a couple of miles. call or text Don at (408) 418-6487
