Lost Cockatiel. Our baby Cockatiel flew out of her cage around sunset ~7-7:30pm. She circled our house on Naugatuck about 8 times trying to land then flew east towards the direction of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. A kind lady dining in her front yard saw her fly low over towards the canyon north of the Baptist Church on the corner of Luna/Clairemont Mesa Blvd; she tweets loudly a lot calling for help/attention.
Please help us find her. She is Lutino (white with yellow head comb feathers and orange cheek feathers).
She knows the 1st verse of “blackbird” by McCartney & Lennon. I will be whistling it to call for her all over the neighborhood.
