MISSING/LOST COCKATIEL (POWAY (SAN DIEGO COUNTY) CALIFORNIA)
My cockatiel flew out of my house on Monday 2/25/13 in East Poway. She’s got a yellow head and tail, bright orange cheeks and a gray body with white spots or pearling on her wings. Her name is Tila and I also call her Punkin. She is microchipped with an Avid microchip and our only bird. The pound and the Humane Society have both types of scanners to scan for the 2 types of microchips. She is an indoor bird used to being with people all the time. She’s not used used to the outdoors and might be scared and skittish and will probably seek out people. She has been a constant companion for my husband who is disability retired. She was last seen flying east but could be anywhere. We believe she is still alive and has been rescued by someone. She is tame and friendly and we hope whoever has her will see this add and call us so we can get her back as we desperately miss our little girl. She’s not just a pet she’s a member of our family. If anyone has her, seen her or knows of anyone who found a cockatiel like her please call us at 858-883-2742 (home) or 858-740-0044 (cell) for James or Dorothy. Thanks for your help.
