LOST AFRICAN GREY PARROT (Hermosa Beach), She is an African Grey Parrot named Shadow. The last time we saw her was on Friday, July 29th at Adventure Plex (1701 Marine Avenue in Manhattan Beach). She doesn’t fly well, although her wings are not clipped. We are offering a REWARD for the return of this bird, and if you have any information on her, please call the number below, or reply via e-mail.
This is not an actual picture of her, but she looks very similar. She has shorter red tail feathers than most Greys, and tends to pluck out her feathers around her neck. Most of her vocals are in the form of electronic sound effects such as telephone answering machine beeps and such. When she does say any word, it’s likely to be “John” in a short, blunt tone. Sometimes she will say her own name.
