***Sydney’s reunion story***
Hello! Thank you so much for promptly posting our Lost Parrot listing for Sydney, our precious African Gray that flew away on Thanksgiving Day – 11/23/2017. My daughter, Amanda Lopez, posted the original plea for help. I’m Sydney’s gramma, and I’m announcing the good news that she’s back home safe and sound. Here’s the story I posted on Ginger’s Parrot Rescue site and affiliates: “Praise God for His loving kindness – Sydney has been FOUND and is back home! I’m her Gramma, and she comes to stay and visit with me regularly, so we’re very close – just like she is with her loving mom, my daughter 
🙂 . Apparently she circled back after gaining great height (top of a very mature Eucalyptus tree), but we had lost sight of her due to houses blocking our view. She landed in someone’s backyard around the corner from her own home. As it was getting dark, she walked up to their sliding glass door and tapped on the glass with her beak. They let her in and gave her water, then went to the store to buy her some parrot food (bag had a picture of an African Gray on it). My daughter put up posters all around the neighborhoods in the vicinity after dark on Thanksgiving night, and she received a phone call this morning around 10:30 after they saw the posters! What sweet, honest people! We are so, so thankful to God for keeping her safe and to the wonderful couple that sheltered her and returned her to us! I’m so humbled and grateful beyond words. Please remove our posting and post the good news. I want to thank your followers who shared the LOST posting – all 31 of them! Thank you so much for your prayers on behalf of Sydney – we all love each other and had a magnificent reunion with lots of hugs and kisses. She’s very affectionate and kept kissing us and saying, “I wuv you” while snuggling her little head on us. She was so happy to see us and be home!”
Sydney, my African Grey parrot was startled and flew off west towards the golf course from my house behind HomeDepot on 99TH AVE and Camelback. She is grey with a red tail, talks, and likes both men and women.
