Bird, our male cockatiel flew out an open door Wed. Aug. 24 around 5 pm in Peters Creek, Ak. He is mostly yellow with a gray and white mix and rosy red cheeks. He is very vocal with destictive whistles and cherps. His wings are NOT clipped so he can fly high. I have been whistling for him consistantly since he got out and for the first 24 hours he was close enough to hear. This was on McManus Dr of Peters creek. We do know that he had escaped his previous owners that lived in Wasilla at the time and he was found at the Ted Stevens International Airport about 4 weeks later. There is hope!
