My female budgie managed to escape on September 21st 2024 at what we believe to be at 9:01am. We have searched around our local area for hours on each each day playing budgie sounds through a speaker, calling her name and whistling her favourite song and we haven’t seen or heard nothing nor have people who live in our area. I am writing this on 23/09/24 at 11:22PM meaning she has been missing for 63/64hrs. We have also placed her cage outside with a speaker next to it playing budgie sounds hoping if she is close she can hear it and it may help and guid her back home but again nothing. If you do come across her she is only used to me and my partner and some close family other than that she is scared of other people but if you do see her the best way for her to approach you is to play budgie sounds on your phone and show her your phone screen as she is obsessed with phones and this is most probably the only way she will come to you.
