Im posting about my cockatiel Rose she went missing the afternoon of April 27th from the highlands area in Pooler,GA We understand that it’s a long shot getting her back home but she’s part of our family and we miss her and don’t want to give up hope so I’m posting a few things to help identify her. If you hear the distinctive continuous high pitched chirp that’s goin to be rose she makes this noise in the morning between 7am-12pm And I’m posting a video of what her wings look like while flying I really hope that all this helps bring our rose home I appreciate everyone being so kind and helping us out and keeping your eyes in the sky. Rose is friendly and has had human interaction everyday of her life so if you see her there is a chance that she might land on you or you can approach her and she will hop on your finger. We have had a few people see her today but she flys off due to the hawks so we are trying to figure out her flight pattern so we can go out and see if we can’t intercept her. If anyone hears or even thinks they might see her please do not hesitate to call me anytime of day. Thank you
Laticia and Anthony 912-666-7047 (EDIT) she has been seen on porches and in trees closer to the ground she will also look like she is struggling to fly it won’t be a normal bird glide this is the first time she has ever gotten out so her flying skills are those of a teenager learning to drive. (If you see her and are able to approach her go slow and call her name so she knows that you know who she is.) again thank you all so much
