Hunter looks and makes very unique honking , knocking, and clicking noises unlike any bird in this part of the world! You may also hear him say “hello”
He would be most familiar with the phrases Hello, Hey Bud, Pretty Bird, and Respond to kissing noises.
If you see him near your house please try to lore him with kissing noises, and putting out nuts, apples, or seeds
He is hand trained and docile, but if you do not have experience handling parrots please do not attempt to do so, an inexperienced person may spook him. Please call me or Bucks County SPCA right away.
It would not be unusual to see him walking on the ground rather than in a tree or flying, If he is walking on the ground please sit with him until help comes, he will climb on you but will not bit!
