My 3 year old Quaker parrot flew out the front door after my son on Wednesday afternoon. She is green with a grey chest and belly. She has a silver band on her right leg. I can identify the markings on it. Her name is Lucy. She will squawk back when she hears her name called. She also says “peekaboo”, makes kissing noises, and laughs. She is very friendly and must be terrified to not know where she is. We miss her terribly. I live in the Hampton Village apartments on Park Ave./US 1A. I am hoping she hasn’t gone far.
PLEASE contact me if you have seen a bird that matches this description. She does not look like any native birds and doesn’t sound like them either.
