Hi, here is a better picture of the cockatiel I previously reported. Still looking for his people!

My neighbor found this bird in her tree last night (8/26/11) and was able to capture him today. I took him to my avian vet, who thinks he has been out for a while, based on his weight (72 grams). He has no injuries and no other signs of ill health. He is a male normal grey cockatiel, according to my vet and her vet techs. He appeared hand shy in the vet’s office and she thought he may not be very tame. I am a bird owner (4 conures) and former 911PA volunteer (stapl2002-at-yahoo.com). I have this bird in a hospital cage, he is recovering nicely, and I will take responsibility for treating him if the vet recommends it, but I definitely want to find the owner!! I live in an area of Seattle called View Ridge, across from a golf course. I have been told that lost birds have stayed a while on this golf course before, so it is possible this bird came from a more distant area of Seattle. Thanks for your help.
