This may be a long shot but I’m hoping that I can help somebody find their lost bird.

In Houston, TX at the Alief Community Center, in the playground by the pool, my 5 year old son and my wife sighted a gray cockatiel (from the way they described it, it may be female). It was picking through the mulch of the playground for food. It wasn’t afraid of people, allowing my son to pet it.

They weren’t sure what to do about it, so they left it and came home. I heard about it after I got home from work. I asked them if it had a band, and they said there wasn’t anything around either leg.
