A COLOURFUL visitor has been making an appearance in gardens in Spalding over the last few days.
A red parrot, which has a number of bright blue feathers, has been spotted feeding from bird tables by a number of readers.
Julie Howden, of West Elloe Avenue, has seen it several times since Thursday afternoon. She was able to stand within a couple of metres of her bird feeder before it flew away.
On Sunday at 8.50am, Keith Dobney saw the parrot call in to Greenrigg Gardens searching for breakfast.
He said: “It had some seed from the feeder and a drink of water and flew off.”
The bird has also been seen in Halmergate.
n Do you know where the parrot might have come from?
