A Wyckoff woman found a missing conure parakeet last month, but has had no success in hunting down its owner.
“I believe it is a green cheeked, pineapple conure,” said Wyckoff resident Cynthia, who found the bird with a band on its leg at her home.
“It flew into the yard in Wyckoff, near the Brick House, on June 16,” Cynthia said. “We combed the neighborhood, but no one lost it. It is definitely a people bird.”
