This is a PAIR of 16-inch Blue Crowned Conuers, visiting our bird feeders since before the storm “Ida”.
They visit multiple times per day, eating sunflower and safflower, but ignoring offerings of fresh fruit.
They are loud and seemingly happy, but we assume they cannot survive winter, so they must be captured.
They have no bands, so if someone wants a pair of Conuers, and they turn out to have no chips, then finders keepers, as we do not want to keep these birds ourselves.
We have made no attempt to capture, they fly away when we get within 20 feet of the feeders, suspended 15-feet above ground.
These are God’s creatures, and need your help/skills/expertise to survive!
