Posting on behalf of the man who found the bird as he doesn’t use social media, the bird is currently in the hands of the Quaker Parakeet Society qpsociety@hotmail.com (now and has received veterinary attention. The bird landed on a woman near the man who found the bird on 7/8/24, startling the woman, and so he took the bird into his car and took her home. He said she’s very sweet and friendly. So far the bird is extremely sweet and has the best personality! We hope to reunite this bird with their family soon!
