I haven’t checked yet to see if its microchipped yet, but the bird was recovered at the Chicago lakefront, near the Montrose bird sanctuary and Belmont Harbor. The bird was comfortable with people and quickly crawled up on my shoulder when I offered my hand. I am happy to find a good home or keep them if I can’t locate an owner, but if someone is missing a big green bird, please let me know. I don’t know much about birds so I am guessing on the species, but would be happy to see a photo of your bird to see if its a match.
