This is a long shot, but I thought I’d give this a try again. We’ve had this cockatiel for 6 years. He was found in Sunrise, Florida back in October or November 2015. The person who found him tried to look for the owner for weeks, but with no luck. We took him in. He prefers women, loves scritches, and LOVES feet and fluffy clothing: if I’m wearing socks, sweatpants, colorful leggings, or maxi skirts/dresses, he will follow me around relentlessly. He loves to land/sit on heads. He whistles something that I think is “I love you.” He has what we call a “secret song,” which is Dixie Land, which he sings almost perfectly, but only sings it on very rare occasions. I’m not looking to get rid of him per se, but if his original owner came forward, I would love to return him to his original home.
