This friendly, talkative and adorable little fellow was found in Elderado and brought to the fire station in a paper bag! If he is yours, please call to describe or verify his band number. (505)994-0505. This little fellow will be held at the Macaw & Cockatoo Rescue of NM shelter in Rio Rancho for two weeks before he will become adoptable. Thanks!

If you lost your banded green parrot-type bird, it was brought to Macaw and Cockatoo Rescue of New Mexico. It was given to someone in a paper sack at the grocery store, so we assume the owner is not looking for it, but maybe the bird-bagger was not the actual owner. Either way, the bird is in safe hands now.
