A cute and friendly little budgie landed on the railing outside a restaurant on Church Street today, and was scooped up by hand. I brought it home and have it in a spare travel cage I use for my Amazon. The budgie must have been out for a few days, since it wolfed down the sprouted seed mix I gave it. The budgie will step up readily, and doesn’t fuss about being held. Someone must be missing this little budgie. If you lost one, please contact me and describe the bird — color, sex, and if you know it, the leg-band ID. I want to make sure that the real owners get this bird back.
