I have been searching high and low for the rightful owner of this sweet bird! So far I don’t even have a lead and hope is dwindling.
I took it to the vet and got it a birdie makeover (nails, beak and WINGS). I believe it may have been out for some time now. All I can get it to eat is Nutraberries, which leads me to believe he/she has been eating out of people’s bird feeders to sustain itself. I’m working on getting it on to pellets and fresh foods. It seems to be a very picky eater, but at least it is eating I guess.
Please note that this is a slightly unusual breed. It’s not your typical species. I will say that it is larger than a conure but smaller than a grey. If you are missing a medium parrot, please contact me with a description, pictures, and/or a band number and I’ll tell you if we have a match.
