My family found this bird in our backyard sitting on a fence. He let us get very close but would would fly a short distance away if we tried to touch him. We managed to catch him pretty easily and put him in an old rabbit cage but he managed to get out and we had to catch him again. After that we decided to buy a small, cheap cage from the store nearby to house him temporarily. He has been eating some seed we also got for him and we are trying our best to make him feel comfortable.
